Conventional candles can contain hundreds of hidden chemicals, from allergens to carcinogens. We hold a different standard. Every candle we produce is handcrafted with five clean, plant-based ingredients:
- Organic Coconut Wax: Sustainable, vegan, and pesticide-free for a clean burn.
- FSC-Certified Wood Wick: Sustainably sourced for a calming crackle.
- 3 Organic Essential Oils: Pure botanical extracts free from synthetic fixatives.

Clean air starts with clean energy. Our process is powered by the sun. Every candle is hand-poured in our California studio using 100% solar energy to ensure your ritual is as pure as the ingredients inside.
What We Intentionally Exclude
The Audit
We prioritize your health and design for safety. We never use:
- Artificial Fragrances: We exclusively use essential oils to avoid the hidden chemicals that trigger sensitivities and allergies.
- BPA & Lead: Our jars are 100% free of heavy metals, making them safe for any room and food-safe for reuse
- The Toxic Four: Phthalates, Parabens, Paraffin, and Petroleum. Our candles are crafted without additives for a pure, soot-free burn.

The Hours Collective is proudly woman-owned and handcrafted in California. What began as a search for a headache-free candle became a movement to redefine what candles are used for in the home. We honor that origin by continuing to pour with intention, solar power, and radical transparency.
